Bubbling away

Well, it might seem like we're not up to much, but actually we've organised to do six gigs at Joyce Is Not Here.

The dates are as follows:
November 17th
January 19th
February 16th
March 16th
April 20th
May 18th

This is pretty big for us - basically someone (Joyce and her husband Rob) is prepared to take a bet on us and let us entertain their patrons not once, not twice, but six times. So put those dates in your diary and come down and see us!

Oh yes, and we've been working on some new songs as well.

Joyce was certainly there, pouring us all shots

*** - UPDATED - I just fixed the link to Joyce's blog - ***

Well, the gig at Joyce Is Not Here on Friday night was a lot of fun. It was very interesting to play in a small venue - we changed our sound a bit to suit it. Robert switched to an acoustic guitar, James used some drumsticks that don't make as much noise, and I didn't use the distortion pedal. Definitely a fun place to play, and if you want to get a feeling of what it was like head on over to Joyce's blog and read her account of the evening. There are a couple of photos as well.

For those of you who couldn't make it - don't worry - Joyce has approached us about playing there again, so we should be back there real soon.

Bone Table Chart Action

A week or so ago we uploaded some of our songs to mp3.com.hk, which is a website devoted to providing a forum for musicians in Hong Kong to share their music with the world. You can listen to or download most of the tracks. And I'm pleased to see that we've attracted a little attention - "The Open Plains" at Number 4 on the Soft Chart, "Punks in Yau Ma Tei" at Number 2 on the Pop Chart, "Whichever Way the Wind Blows" at Number 4 and "Musashi" at Number 10 on the Rock Chart!

Shooting up the charts ... with a bullet!
