Live at Joyce Is Not Here - October 13th

We'll be playing at Joyce Is Not Here on Friday 13th of October. Joyce Is Not Here is a small bar in Peel Street in Mid-Levels. We'll be playing a slightly more subdued set as there are some noise restrictions in the area. Nevertheless we expect the intimate setting will lend the songs a certain intensity that tends to get lost when we crank our amps up to 10.

So mark that date down in your diary, and we'll keep you posted with any more details.

A few technical hitches

So we played last night at Amnesia - and it was a lot of fun. We had a few problems with amps not working and guitars going out of tune, but thankfully the Man with the Mask was there and kept the crowd entertained while we sorted out the hitches. And then we cut loose. It was definitely the most enjoyable gig we've played - a good venue and a good crowd.

I don't know if we made into the Festival or not, but I'm glad we got a chance to play.

Some people asked if we have songs for download - yes we DO! By all means, download, burn onto CDs, send to friends.tags: | |

Rockit Rockit

Yeah! Bone Table! We're back and we're playing this Saturday night. The gig will be our Rockit Festival audition, but also, a gig's a gig.

We've had a couple of rehearsals since Maggie got back and I think it's safe to say we sound a little bit tighter and a little bit tougher. Saturday night also sees the debut of the Bone Table Outfit. Be sure you don't miss us in all our sartorial splendour!

Gigs - yes, that's a plural

Hullo Bone Table fans - some news! First of all, Maggie will be back in Hong Kong very soon, which means we'll be rehearsing for our Rockit Audition, which is of course at Amnesia on Saturday 23rd of September. BE THERE!! Actually, Rob and I went there last week to have a look at the 'scene'. It was pretty good - we saw a great punk band called Attention to Piss, and some other good bands whose names escape me (Attention to Piss used up all my band-name memory). Apparently 84 bands are competing for about 10 places - but fingers crossed.

In other news, we'll also be playing soon at a great bar in SoHO called Joyce Is Not Here - they've been putting on bands for a few weeks now on Friday nights, and apparently it's been a lot of fun. It's a smallish bar though, so we'll be little more 'intimate'. The gig is tentatively scheduled for October 6th - stay tuned for more details.
