Bone Table Update

Aloha! I thought I'd better post a quick Bone Table update. At the moment Maggie is in Hawaii and she shot through an email the other day to say she might be bringing a bass guitar back with her! At the moment she's wondering how to get it back on the plane, so if you have any bass guitar travel tips, get over to her blog and leave a comment.

In the meantime Robert, James and I have been rehearsing and are working on three new songs, including James' debut composition for the band.

Don't forget we'll be playing at Amnesia on September 23rd, which will be our audition for the Rockit Hong Kong Music Festival. But I think we might squeeze another Wanch gig in as well before then. Stay tuned.

James doesn't only play the drums

Bone Table's drummer, James Wolfe, is featured in an interview in the South China Morning Post today (pg.C6, August 8, 2006), talking about his work as a sculptor and the concept of temporary art. Unfortunately we can't link to the interview as the SCMP hides its content behind a wall. But if you'd like to see some of James' work, head down to the Lee Gardens on Hysan Avenue in Causeway Bay. His work will be on display there for the rest of the week. On Sunday James put on a sculpture performace, creating a sculpture in front of the Lee Gardens building and you can see the result of that work as well.
