Robert Prevendar - co-founder of Bone Table and all-round good guy (and Scientist) is unfortunately leaving Hong Kong to take up a job in the USA. And when Rob goes, so too will a lot of the material, which means we'll find it hard to do three action-packed sets at Fresco once a month.
So this Friday night will be our last ever gig at Fresco. We started out across the street at
Joyce Is Not Here in October 2006. That night we tried to play quietly (Rob even played an acoustic) but we still ended up rocking out. Rob kept on breaking strings until he ran out of strings to break and it was a generally crazy affair. We then took up a monthly residency at Joyce's and when they opened the
Peel Fresco Music Lounge across the street we packed up our stuff and moved across the street as well.
We've had some fantastic gigs at both Joyce's and Fresco - a particular highlight was doing the Typhoon show last year (not many people but those who were there had a very good time) and we met a lot of people and made some good friends.
So come on down to Fresco this Friday night - show starts 9.30pm (ish) and we'll take it from there. Should be quite a party.
