Privacy & Terror There's a lot in the news at the moment about how the Federal Government is planning to introduce nationwide anti-terror legislation, including giving police the power "to stop and search people in transport hubs and mass gatherings such as sporting events and rallies" and to detain people for up to 14 DAYS WITHOUT CHARGE.

So I guess in the years to come we can expect to see stories like this - a man stopped in the UK for wearing a coat in the wrong season, arrested, DNA swabbed and fingerprinted and his possessions confiscated indefinitely. Read the whole story.
