Leon Last weekend a friend named Leon came over to my place. I asked him to come over so I could record a couple of his songs. Leon is a singer-songwriter, coffee-maker and guitar teacher, but he doesn't have much of an outlet for getting his music down on tape. I thought it would be a good thing to do - he'd get a demo CD out of it and I'd get more experience at recording someone.

So he came over, we had a couple of beers, and I recorded two of his songs onto my laptop. It turned out quite well - I still need to mix them properly, but the first listens are quite encouraging.

I was going to make the songs available for download here, but then I realised I haven't asked him if I can. So I'll do that first and if he says "Yes" they'll be on this site in a couple of days.  ¶ 2:06 PM
