Soundtrack A while ago I was asked to do a soundtrack for a short film. I agreed to do it because it's nice to write music for a purpose other than the purpose of writing music.

The film is about 8 and-a-half minutes long - all the action takes place by the side of a road in the middle of the country. The brief is to write two pieces - one abt 1 min 40 seconds, the second about 30 seconds long.

In the first piece I have to signify that one character is American, one French and one German, and all in "1940's style" - whatever that is. So I've started to do the demo - I've come up with the basic theme, but I have to admit that I am a little stumped by the three small bits of music for each character.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll come up with something.  ¶ 7:23 AM
