Dumplings back in play
After the
37 individual violations of the food hygiene regulations, I had removed the
Camy Shanghai Dumpling Restaurant from the lunch rotation. Despite never having been sick there, and clearly enjoying the wonderful flavours of the dumplings, red bean pancakes and noodle dishes, I felt that knowing what I knew would spoil the experience for me.
Today I went back - and it was still good. The flavours aren't quite the same as they were - the steamed Peking and vegetable dumplings in particular seemed a little odd, but the fried pork dumplings were excellent, as was the hot chicken noodle and fried rice stick.
And at $5.50 for a plate of dumplings, it's still one of the Best Value Meals in Town.
Therefore I am announcing that as far as I am concerned, Camy Shanghai Dumpling Restaurant is Back in the Game.
